Gardening for People, the Planet, and Your Pocketbook

Rehoboth Land Trust will hold its annual meeting on Thursday evening April 24 beginning at 6:30 pm at Goff Memorial Hall, 124 Bay State Rd, in Rehoboth. Our featured presenter will be Melanie Trecek-King who will discuss “Gardening for People, the Planet, and Your Pocketbook.”
Learn about sustainable gardening methods that ensure safe backyard habitats for native plants and animals. An active speaker and blogger, Trecek-King holds a Master of Arts in Ecology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where she specialized in prairie ecosystems. She serves as an Associate Professor of Biology at Massasoit Community College and founded “Thinking is Power,” a science curriculum focused on critical thinking and information literacy.
We will serve light refreshments.
