Property History
This 0.39 acre parcel is located on Carpenter Street next to the Palmer River. Remnants of an old dam and a fish ladder support the history of a large pond at this site where neighbors skated in the winter. Now this scenic shaded spot along the west branch of the Palmer River offers wildlife, wading, play and quiet contemplation.
Simply put by the property’s donor, Carol Williams, ”Neighbors have used this area for recreation since I have lived here. I simply wanted to preserve what has been long enjoyed by people in the area.”
